It was such an honor to be a part of Ivy and Will’s wedding day! This couple is so special and they actually got to have two weddings. Will’s mother was battling cancer this spring and when things took a turn for the worse Ivy and Will decided to tie the knot in a small, private family ceremony in Will’s parents living room. Even though she passed away shortly after, I know it was such a special gift to Will’s mom to get to see her son get married. Will and Ivy still continued with their original wedding day plans as well. I had such a blast getting to be a part of their wedding day celebration and photographing all of Ivy’s adorable details. Have fun with this preview!
Ivy was beautiful on her wedding day! Jill Gordon did an awesome job with her hair.
I recently purchased a fun new toy from photojojo….Remember the little chalkboard from Ivy and Will’s engagement session? Well, we brought them back out for the wedding, check it out! The ceremony took place at Martha Bowman United Methodist in Macon.
How cute are these bridesmaids’ shoes??

The bridesmaids looked fabulous in their pink dresses. . . and check out the adorable flower girls!
The shoes, the flowers, the monograms, the fans… it’s all adorable.
It was super hot that day, and the bridesmaids cooled off by standing over the vents in the sanctuary.
We had a little fun with the monogrammed fans
Ivy and Will posed with Will’s dad by the unity candle, which was decorated with a rose honoring Will’s mom, Debbie Scott.
Of course Will had to wear his UGA socks, and Ivy was rocking some fabulous shoes!

Oh yes, and after the service while we were taking family photos the fire alarm when off. Thankfully it was a false alarm, but the fire truck came!

Ivy and Will had such cute details. Their wedding favor was a candle with a note of remembrance in honor of Will’s mom. They also gave out coozies and chocolates. Ivy’s sister-in-law, Amy, even painted an adorable antique car sign for the occasion.
Barbara Wilcher made Ivy’s beautiful cake
The Town Squares Band kept this crowd rocking all night!
Will was really excited about cutting this cake!
Guess who else was there? Abby and Brandon Locke! Remember Abby’s fabulous pink wedding last year?
The Brickyard catered the delicious food, and Will’s UGA groom’s cake was made by Sheila Williams.
We snuck out to the golf course to get some romantics at sunset. Look at how gorgeous that sky is!
Will loves to ham it up for the romantics! He was cracking me up!
