All You Need is Love! Ashley & Kevin!

May 19, 2010 |

Kevin and Ashley had a day filled with love and Beatles songs.  Ashley walked down the aisle to “I Will” and they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife to “In My Life.”  So I had a little fun with these two recreating Beatles album cover art throughout their day.  The day started at Utopia Salon where Ashley and her gals got their hair done by Alex Treisch and her makeup done by Hannah Rhodes.  She was already a beautiful girl, but on her wedding day she was stunning!

Both the ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful historic Blacksmith Shop here in Macon, GA.  Carmen Johnston with Nectar & Co. went all out decorating the courtyard with a floral archway and of course the fountain was dressed up for the affair with lovely bright gerbers.

The bride’s cake was by Amanda at Karen Holleman Cakes.

Kevin’s favorite candy is Reese’s cups so Lisa Shepley with Lisamae Cakes made him a Reese’s cup groom’s cake!

Teddi Wohlford with Culinary Creations (478-745-5203) did an incredible job with the food!  I loved the couple’s extra detail of the old school bottled cokes.

Believe it or not Kevin’s parents are Jack and Dianne!  So they had to dance to the song!

blog_00601

At the marriage appreciation dance Jack and Dianne tied with their best friends from high school for the longest times married.  Ashley and Kevin honored them with bouquets of gerber dasies.
