Kevin and Ashley had a day filled with love and Beatles songs. Ashley walked down the aisle to “I Will” and they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife to “In My Life.” So I had a little fun with these two recreating Beatles album cover art throughout their day. The day started at Utopia Salon where Ashley and her gals got their hair done by Alex Treisch and her makeup done by Hannah Rhodes. She was already a beautiful girl, but on her wedding day she was stunning!
Oh Ashley’s hair piece was really beautiful. She found it from an etsy store called Untamed Petals. Her dress was also simple and stunning.
The shoes were blinging Enzo Angiolinis!
Both the ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful historic Blacksmith Shop here in Macon, GA. Carmen Johnston with Nectar & Co. went all out decorating the courtyard with a floral archway and of course the fountain was dressed up for the affair with lovely bright gerbers.
We started with bridals of Ashley in the Blacksmith Shop!
The ladies en route. We headed over to a nearby park to get some shots with the blooming azaleas!
All the florals were so bright and cheery!
What a sweet bride!
The ladies channeling the “HELP” album cover here.
What beautiful eyes you have!
Back in the bride’s room we found some amazing light…so I had to post these!
Back at the Blacksmith Shop where the guys were chillin’ in the freezer! I guess they were keeping their drinks cool!
I got a real smile out of Kevin when he wasn’t looking.
The guys channeling “Abbey Road” here.
Then our version of the “Rubber Soul” here.
Looking handsome.
Time for daddy to walk her down the aisle.
It was a simply sweet ceremony.
Right after the ceremony the couple went around the corner and had a little alone time.
Oh and my fav I saved for last here. I like to call it “Meet the Keegans”!
A few romantics and group shots. We did a whole series on this wall and I posted a couple already in their “first look.”
I love Kevin’s glasses.
Back inside the Blacksmith Shop Carmen and her crew had transformed the place in the a garden paradise.
More floral details along with Kevin and Ashley’s wedding favor of a pot of honey!
Kevin Nichols with DKH entertainment did a fab job with the lighting and the music.
The bride’s cake was by Amanda at Karen Holleman Cakes.
Kevin’s favorite candy is Reese’s cups so Lisa Shepley with Lisamae Cakes made him a Reese’s cup groom’s cake!
Teddi Wohlford with Culinary Creations (478-745-5203) did an incredible job with the food! I loved the couple’s extra detail of the old school bottled cokes.
Believe it or not Kevin’s parents are Jack and Dianne! So they had to dance to the song!
At the marriage appreciation dance Jack and Dianne tied with their best friends from high school for the longest times married. Ashley and Kevin honored them with bouquets of gerber dasies.
Last dance.
BUBBLES!!!!
Then off in Ashley’s Daddy’s Corvette!
Thanks to the Keegans and the Spillers for inviting me into such a joyous day in your lives. I had blast documenting the first day of Ashley and Kevin’s marriage and I cannot wait to show you more soon!
