I was so excited when Audrey and Cody decided to use me as their photographer! Not only are they a super sweet couple, but they also love to travel. So they chose to have their wedding in Mexico! That means I get to shoot my favorite kind of wedding – a destination wedding!! You can hardly call it work when you get to shoot on the beaches of Mexico!! They are also having a reception with their family and friends this fall at Lake Oconee. So this is the first of a 3 posts you’ll see on this sweet couple! They met in grad school where they were both working on their doctorates in psychology. They live in Milwaukee, but for Audrey, Macon will always be home. So they wanted to do their engagement session while they were in town. We started the morning at Audrey’s family’s land out on Zebulon Road. This is such a beautiful piece of land, and it was the perfect place to start the shoot.
This was such a pretty spot. I love the geese floating on the pond in the background!
Audrey and Cody and their babies, Wrigley and Rupp.
Could these little doggies in ties be any cuter???
So cute!
Audrey and Cody have the most beautiful blue eyes!
The gorgeous ring!
Next we headed downtown to Audrey’s mom’s childhood home on College St.
I love these. Audrey looks so chic!
Finally, we headed over to the Joshua Cup. Audrey and Cody are both scholarly and studious, and they spend a lot of their time studying together in coffee shops. I thought I would get a few shots of Audrey and Cody and their matching Macs!
