Avery is a sweet Georgia Peach and Ryan is a California boy. They are the perfect match and when planning their wedding they picked Avery’s hometown of Milledgeville, GA for the wedding. The Lockerly Arboretum was the perfect venue for a wedding with southern style. So now for Avery and Ryan’s wedding preview! The day started for the gals at Charmed Spa in downtown Milledgeville, GA. Carrolle Mayfield did a fabulous job getting Avery’s hair into curls.
They also did her makeup and it’s the best kind in my opinion…Bare Minerals!
The dress!
Some bridal details.
Avery’s bridals.
Avery was workin’ that fan!
What a beautiful profile.
Ryan was takin’ the edge off.
Avery and Ryan saw each other before their ceremony. We arranged a private first look where they saw each other for the first time. It was an emotional moment.
Some flower details. Florals by AJ’s Florist in Irwinton, GA.
Nothing says Georgia like Spanish Moss.
Sweetness.
There is a beautiful koi pond out front at the Arboretum.
Can we say Act 2, Scene 2?
Rings!
Avery and Ryan provided all their guests with fans and cool water to beat the southern heat. They also had their guests leave them notes of advice for their new life together as husband and wife.
Betsy Fitzgerald of Macon, GA played the harp for their ceremony.
Waiting to meet his bride.
Down the aisle.
The view from the balcony.
Ryan had to sneak a peek at his bride.
All smile for the ring ceremony.
The first kiss as husband and wife.
I had to post this pic of the flower girl…she took her job so seriously.
Onto the reception and the first dance. Avery’s brother, Jonathan Potter, and his band kept everyone rockin’ all night long.
The cakes.
Love the love birds.
How cute is Avery waiting to take a bite of cake.
A couple of romantics after sunset.
They know how to work the dip!
After a wardrobe change… Avery was channeling Marilyn Monroe….and they left through the bubbles.
Thanks to Avery and Ryan and their friends and family for letting me be part of such a special day. Y’all are such a sweet couple and I hope God blesses your marriage for many many years.
