Courtney & Kyle: Happily Ever After

July 11, 2013 |

Courtney is a real princess, and Kyle is her prince. He even proposed to her at Cinderella’s castle at Disney World. Every princess deserves a fairy tale wedding day, but Courtney and Kyle are such a sweet and awesome couple, I know that the best part of this wedding will be their “happily ever after.” Even though this was Courtney and Kyle’s perfect day, it rained ALL DAY! But these two made the best of the showers and even braved the rain for a beautiful rainy day romantic session.

Every princess deserves some pampering. And what better place to be pampered than Signature Salon? Check out these gorgeous Signature ‘dos.I just loved these girls! How cute are their matching monogrammed shirts?

What a sweet father / daughter moment!
Courtney wrote Kyle a sweet note and sealed it with a kiss.
Just like a princess, Courtney descended the stairs and took her groom’s breath away.

Even though it was pouring down rain outside, we were so blessed to have this beautiful window light.

Kyle, the handsome groom

We even found a little overhang to take some pictures outside without getting soaked in the rain.
So gorgeous!

The ceremony was held at Martha Bowman, the church where Courtney and Kyle met as teenagers.

First dance
The whole family was beaming as they watched the father/daughter dance. I just love Grandma’s reaction!
Lisa Shepley of Lisa Mae Cakes did both of the fabulous cakes: Courtney’s elegant confection with Tiffany blue bows and Kyle’s UGA themed groom’s cake.

Cutting the cake with the monogrammed cake knife

Kyle, a big Georgia fan, just had to have UGA on his cake chomping down on a Gator tail, of course.

DJ Jason Law kept the crowd dancing.
Wish lanterns by the pool.In spite of the rain, Courtney and Kyle still wanted to make their wish.

I love that this bride and groom were willing to go out and play in the rain! And how gorgeous are these romantics in the rain?

After a fairy tale wedding, they lived happily ever after. Courtney and Kyle, thanks for sharing your special day with me!
