Meet Corine & Nate! They will be tying the knot this fall. We met up at her dad’s house for their engagement shoot! The house is nestled on the Ocmulgee River on a beautiful piece of property, and it’s also where Nate proposed!
These two actually knew each other in high school since they went to the same one. Nate was 3 years older than Corine, and they never actually talked to each other until they met in college at a bar named Dingus Magee’s, It didn’t take long for them to fall in love. One week after their first date they were exclusive and one more week after that Nate told her he loved her!
This is the spot where he popped the question. In Corine’s words: “Nate actually surprised me when proposing, which I did not think that he would. We had been talking about getting engaged for some time. Had looked at rings with each other and with our parents. One night before going to eat dinner with all of our friends, he asked me to take the dogs on a walk (which we do all the time). There is a table about half way up my driveway and I could see that there was something on it. I absolutely thought that we were ruining a surprise that my brother had done for his girlfriend. I was very wrong. Once I realized what was happening, Nate got a one knee, said all the right things, and asked me to marry him.”
This one is for Corine’s daddy… he likes lions and tiger and bears!
I love that Corine says this about her least favorite thing about planning a wedding: “I am much more excited about my marriage than I am about a wedding and the hardest part of wedding planning is resisting the urge to elope.
She will be such a stunning bride!
Believe it or not these two pups followed us around the whole session!
