Kadi & Tyler: Forever and Ever Amen

August 14, 2011 |

Kadi and Tyler are the sweetest couple!  And their sweet wedding was the embodiment of who they are as a couple.  I just loved getting to know them during their engagement.  They are truly a sweet southern couple; they value family and friends and building a life together, as well as their new home.  I know they were a little stressed with trying to complete construction of their first home during the wedding week.  They wanted their first night together as husband and wife to be spent at their house.  It has come quite a long way… you can see some shots of it under construction in their engagement session.  Seeing two people in love commit their lives to each other is really what makes my job so awesome! So check out their preview

Her sweet mama helped her with the jewelry.

At the ceremony the couple gave their guests a bookmark with this written on it:  “This is the day we vowed our love before you all and God above.  In future years, we shall recall the love you wished us, one and all.  We’re grateful for your presence here, all those who came from far and near.  May God bless you is what we pray, as He has us, on our wedding day.”  They marked I Cor 13 in the Bible open on their program table.  They also had a memory table and candle burning at the ceremony for their loved ones who had passed away and could not be with them on this special day.

I love how Kadi walked over to hold her daddy’s arm so he could walk her down the aisle to marry Tyler.

bloglogo38Kadi’s dad walked her down the aisle to say “I do” in front of a sanctuary full of their family and friends. bloglogo39

I love that both mamas got a clear view of the entrance.

We had to get one more fun group shot at the reception.

bloglogo70Kadi and Tyler and their guests enjoyed a seated dinner catered by the country club.  Yum!bloglogo72

Tyler’s best man was his daddy and he gave an awesome toast to the couple.

bloglogo73Kadi and Tyler had an anniversary dance where they danced with all the married couples at their wedding.  Kadi’s grandparents, Memaw and Papa, were the last ones on the dance floor. They have been married 52 years.   What an inspiration!bloglogo74bloglogo75The delicious cakes were made by Cassidy Miller in Gray.  Tyler’s cake was caramel, his favorite.  Yummy!bloglogo76bloglogo77Kadi was taking this bouquet toss seriously!  Nice throw!!bloglogo78bloglogo79

Hunter, Tyler’s groomsman was the chair for the garter…He was asked if he supported the marriage… I think that is a yes!
