It was a beautiful summer day at Oakhurst Farm in West Point, GA when Katherine and Jason tied the knot. What a lovely venue, with big open fields, gorgeous flowers, a beautiful pond, and even cows! Even though the rain threatened, we had such a gorgeous day filled with love and family! The pending storms actually brought a lovely cool breeze that made this outdoor July wedding so lovely. My wedding wish to Katherine and Jason on their wedding day comes from one of my favorite hymns “The clouds you so much dread Are big with mercy and shall break, With blessings on your head” So the big beautiful clouds are one of my favorite weddings guests! On to the photos! Katherine’s dress was so cool – 2 dresses in one! It was long, with a gorgeous train for the ceremony, and then the bottom came off for the reception….and she had the perfect shoes to accent this dress… can’t wait to show you! Katherine’s mom helped her into her gown.Chandelier earrings and the rings. Hot pink shoes & matching garter.. the perfect pop of color!Beautiful bride
I am in love with Katherine’s natural hair, accented perfectly with a flower… its is sooo beautiful!
I couldn’t ask for a prettier sky!
Katherine’s lovely bridal bouquet, and all the other florals, were created by Alex Woodward, a family friend. Katherine and her ladies.Love shooting these gorgeous girls.
She is just soooo stinkin’ cute!
Those AMAZING shoes again!
In case of rain. . . thank goodness we didn’t need this cute umbrella!Oh these weeping willows! Lovely!Check out Jason’s boutonniere. It is made from a fly fishing fly, since Jason enjoys fly fishing. Love this idea!
Jason is the kinda southern gent that knows the how to tie a perfect bow tie!
The handsome groomThe Elliston family…AT&T bars… this is a family inside joke of sorts!
Isn’t he dapper? I really want this three piece suit for my hubby. Jason got his from StudioSuits.com and his tie from TheTieBar.com.
Jason and his guys – love those bowties!
You know guys… telling dirty jokes and all that…
Amazing jump! High FIVE!I love the shots of Katherine under the veil. She looks so classic!
STUNNING!
Katherine and Jason had a bagpiper for the ceremony. I also loved the cute program fans with the adorable hot pink touches! My fav personal touch is that Katherine’s two brothers were both involved. Her brother, Sam, is a minister and officiated the wedding and her brother, Dan, did a special scripture reading. Katherine’s daddy walked her down the aisle.Look at the excitement on Jason’s face as he catches his first glimpse of his bride. The bagpiper led the new Mr. and Mrs. Jason Elliston back down the aisle as husband and wife!Their first quiet moments as husband and wife.
Time to let the fun begin!
Love these sweet kisses.
Y’all sure are an adorable couple!
Had to get a shot of Jason’s nephew. Check out his bib!Another great jump!Showing off those cute pink shoes!
Love this series of romantics.
Loved the cute thumbprint tree that Katherine and Jason used as a guest book. The bride made the cute little candy sacks that adorned all the tables.First DanceAll the yummy food was made by Jason’s parents’ catering business, Catering by Ken & Judy Elliston.Had to get a few romantics in the twilight.Katherine and Jason got a little crazy with their cakes! They are such a playful couple. All of the yummy bride’s cakes was made by Fran Papenfuss, “The Cake Lady.”
They had to do some serious cleaning up after that cake war!
The groom’s cake made lovingly by Jason’s mom had the table displayed a few of Jason’s favorite things…by far the funniest to me was the Mtn Dew and Slim Jim…LOL.Katherine, dancing with her daddy.Jason, dancing with his mama…brought a little tear to his eye.DJ Benji Shepherd of MBS Entertainment made sure the crowd danced all night. Katherine’s nephew and Chasen one the Jason’s best men had an amazing dance off. I will have to post the video clip later! Then it was off through the sparklers to the getaway car, a 1956 Porsche Roadster.
I love the dress converted to a sexy short number with those sexy shoes!
Thanks for sharing your special day with me, Jason and Katherine!
