What do you get when you mix a classic beauty, a handsome man in uniform, and a whole lotta love? Brad and Kristin’s wedding, that’s what! I am so honored that I got to be part of their wedding. It was a wonderful day of sweet friends and family all there to celebrate this couple. The couple met through Kristin’s best friend and MOH (maid of honor) Anna! Anna is one of my friends, and it was so fun to see her be such a sweet supportive friend to this couple. I bet she never thought she would be standing in Kristin and Brad’s wedding when she first introduced them….so sweet!
Kristin started her day getting gorgeous at Amanda Jane salon. Jessica did a great job with Kristin’s hair!
Kristin is so cute! I love how excited she was to marry her man!Kristin was a traditional bride and she wanted to have something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. So she wore an “old” ring that her parents gave her when she was 9, a “new” pair of earrings, a necklace that she “borrowed” from her MOH, Anna, and a “blue” angel pinned to her garter. Kristin’s classic gownI love the moment when a groom sees a bride for the first time. Before they said “I do,” Brad and Kristin wanted to see each other alone. Brad wrote Kristen a card and had run out of envelopes so he had to use whiteout on the envelope! Look at how Brad is beaming. . . Kristin took his breath away!
Love this beautiful window light… I really couldn’t get enough of it!
They are such a beautiful coupleBrad and Kristin got married at Ingleside Baptist Church in Macon, where the couple attend church.LOVE!!Kristin’s lovely bouquet was made by a family friend, Starling Thornsberry. She’s also the MOH’s sister. Great job, Starling! The handsome groom. Since Brad is in the Air Force, he wore his blues. I know it was hot, but I love a man in uniform! Check out all those medals! How cute are these flower girls?Kristin’s gorgeous girls. . . and Brad’s handsome groomsmen
Hot!
Gotta love those suspenders!
Some of the gals painted their toenails blue for the wedding day…and Anna helped Kristin with her garter!
Kristin looks like a sultry 1940’s movie star in this one! Love it!
Ceremony time!
Love these sweet girls!Kristin’s daddy walked her down the aisleSaying “I do” and kissing the brideIt is a military tradition for the bride and groom to walk through an archway of swords. The last swords are crossed, and when the groom kisses the bride, the swords are raised and the happy couple passes through….but as they leave the first guy pops the bride on the booty! LOL! Mr. and Mrs. Brad Winter.
I know its because I grew up watching Shirley Temple movies that I had this little song in my head!
I love the line: “In the crowd he looks so proud, the military man, In his uniform, so spic and span!” Now I feel like tap dancing! LOL
I loved the sword arch so much that we just had to recreate it!Then the happy couple headed off in a limo to the reception at The Armory Ballroom. But we had to stop by Brad and Kristin’s house first. They met right next door at Anna’s (Kristin’s MOH) house. And now they will share this home. So sweet! The couple’s reception was held in downtown Macon at the Armory Ballroom. They enjoyed some delicious food by Teddi Wohlford and Culinary Creations, and cake before hitting the dance floor. The couple’s yummy cakes were made by Publix. And to continue the military tradition, they cut their cake with a sword!First Dance. I love the way Kristin’s dress swirls when she dances. She looks like a princess!
Both sets of parents are still together and happily married and joined the couple during the first dance! So Sweet!
The yummy food was prepared by Culinary Creations & more florals by Starling.Cheers to the bride and groom!DJ Laura Starling had no trouble getting these guys on the dance floor. Check out this awesome back flip by Kristin’s brother.
Their train made it all over the dance floor!
A couple of sweet kisses at twilight
Then Brad and Kristin walked through a sea of bubbles to their waiting limo. Thanks for sharing your special day with me! I had such a great time celebrating your love. Can’t wait to show you more!
