Nichole & Steven: ENGAGED!!!

Marry Me? That’s how Steven asked Nichole!!!
I am sooo excited to share this post with you! Nichole has been a close friend of mine for nearly 5 years! We met when we did a wedding together, and she was the fab hair stylist. At the time I had no clue she was the owner and head stylist at Signature Salon. We became fast friends over our love of business, beauty and brides. Now she gets to be my bride, and I couldn’t be happier for her! Steven is not only a gem, but he is the answer to my prayers for her to have a godly husband one day. I am so blessed to witness their friendship, courtship and now marriage. So onto their engagement story!
I asked Nichole to tell me in her words how it happened.
“We went to dinner for his 30th birthday, and while we were gone my cousin came over and put my ring on my dog, Jackie’s collar with a tag that read ‘marry me.'”
Close friends and family showed up right after to surprise them with a toast!

We met up earlier this week for a real engagement session. Here is Steven’s description of their relationship:
“Our relationship is fun, honest and giving. Since we’ve met we’ve encouraged each other’s relationship with God, supported and grown each other’s businesses, and we’ve eaten all kinds of awesome food together. We’ve had about 3 fights and I won all of them, and besides those instances, we still can’t wait to see each other everyday…unless she doesn’t work that day, which is about 4 days of the week.”
You can tell Steven is always making her smile!
Nichole said she is most excited that this will be a glamorous wedding at a farm venue! She is not kidding either. I know she is planning on bringing the glam and sparkle to Morgan View Farm where she and Steven will tie the knot in a night wedding under the old pecan trees!

When I asked what the hardest part of being the bride and planning a wedding is she said “the hardest part of planning is getting everything done in 4 weeks!!!!”
That’s right, people. These two are getting married on Valentines Day…THIS YEAR!!!!!
