After long, hot summer, it’s finally fall. The weather’s a little cooler; the leaves are beginning to change, and wedding season is back!! I can’t think of a better way to kick off the fall wedding season, than with Nikki and Justin’s gorgeous Pineola Farms wedding. They had lots of the gorgeous details we’ve come to expect from a Pineola wedding. It was a thoroughly Southern wedding: a little bit country and rustic but always elegant! And what a sweet couple! I had such a good time with these two and their families.
I have to start by telling you about this doorway that the groom and his daddy built. They spent countless hours laboring over this doorway, just so Nikki would be able to have that amazing bridal moment when the doors open and everyone sees the bride for the first time. Now these doors are a fixture in the couple’s garden at home. What a sweet reminder of their wedding day!Love, love these shoes! The funny thing is, Nikki wore her bridal TOMS almost all day. Style and comfort. I love it!
This gal knows how to works some beautiful bling on her wedding day. Her earrings were her “something borrowed” from her step-mom, Tammy.
Nikki’s step-mama, Tammy, giving her a sweet gift from her groom before she went to see him. It’s a Pandora bracelet that Nikki can continue adding charms to. Justin wanted to give her a new one as a symbol of their new life together. The first charm is the LOVE charm. How perfect!
Her something(s) blue were her amazing bridal Toms and a heart cut out from one of her daddy’s tees sewn into her dress.
That moment of anticipation before they see each other for the first time.
So cute
The look on Justin’s face is priceless! He lights up when he sees his bride.
Walking down the aisle and checking out where they were going to tie the knot.
I still can’t get over that Justin and his daddy built this doorway for their wedding!
Delise Knight of Pineola Farms always does the cutest things! Check out the letters hanging on either side of the doors to show which side is the bride’s and which side is the groom’s.
Time for romantics in the orchard.
The gorgeous bouquet and boutonniere are the handiwork of the talented Delise Knight. Nikki was a stunning bride!
Justin is such a dapper groom.
The whole wedding partyI love when a bridal party has fun kiddos in it… even when they are not into the photos!
Nikki’s little sister was the flower girl for the day.
Nikki’s little sis, McKenzie was such a sweet little flower girl. LOVE this image of Jay, the little ring bearer, sharing his gum with McKenzie!
You always need a hankie at a sweet wedding like this! Nikki carried her great great grandmother’s pink embroidered hankie close to her heart as her “something old.” Justin carried the blue monogrammed hankie, and Nikki even had a hankie monogrammed for her daddy. So sweet! We did a few tea time photos in the Knight dining room for fun!
More sweet kiddos helping handing out programs and water to guests at the ceremony.
The junior bridesmaid and junior groomsman.
How precious is the ringbearer, Jay and the flowergirl, McKenzie?Runaway flowergirl!
At least she was headed the right direction!
Look at Justin’s smile. That is one excited groom!
This little girl almost stole the show. She was soo cute!
Instead of a traditional unity candle this couple made a unity cross to symbolize their vows and faith.
Kiss the bride!
And a few more kisses for the newlyweds
The new Mr. and Mrs. Justin Williamson! Woohoo!!
After the ceremony, Nikki and Justin and their guests headed into the reception tent. Delise outdid herself with the fabulous flowers. The tent by Macon Tent Rental was the perfect mix of indoors and outdoors. Loved the chandelier!
Along with great food and great music, the guests were also treated to some fun games, like croquet and cornhole.
The bride’s cake was made by Lisa Shepley of Lisa Mae Cakes. Not only was it gorgeous, it was also delicious! This is one of the coolest cake setups I’ve seen. I love the way the cake was set up in front of antique screened doors with family photos hanging inside.
The newlyweds had their own little sweetheart tableCheck out these beautiful farmhouse table for guests.
What could be more Southern than RC Colas and moonpies?
The Perfect Pear catered the event with some fabulous food and lovely dishes! Instead of a groom’s cake, Justin chose to serve pies in a mason jar. What a cute idea!
Nikki got choked up during the father / daughter dance. It was a really sweet moment.
Then Justin’s mother/son dance became a dance for the whole family! It doesn’t get sweeter than that!
We had to take advantage of the gorgeous entrance to the ceremony site. The chandeliers added the perfect bit of romance to these shots!
Justin, Nikki and their guests danced to the music of Session Road and had a little fun with the sparklers.
Then they headed off through the bubbles to their honeymoon.
Thanks for letting me share in your sweet day! I had an amazing time. Thanks for kicking off fall wedding season in style!
