Jenn and Jason’s romantic red and black wedding was held on 10/10/10. That will be an easy anniversary to remember. They are such a sweet couple, and I had a great time with them and their friends and families. I really want to thank Jenn and Jason for putting faces on my local news and radio… Jason is a DJ for Q106.3 FM. (His DJ name is Jason Hawke) I have listened to Jason on the radio since I moved here, and of course have read some of Jenn’s articles in the Macon Telegraph and so it’s so awesome to know such a great couple.
The ladies started their day getting ready at Signature Salon. Check out those beautiful Signature styles. Of course we had to get a shot of the Sunday paper too, since Jenn works for the Telegraph.
After hair and makeup the girls headed over to the brand new Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in downtown Macon to finish getting ready.
The gownLoved Jenn’s red shoes. . .and check out the heart on the sole. So cute!Jenn was such a beautiful bride, and that dress fit her like a glove. Gorgeous! The ladies headed down to the lobby!I love these shots we got at the new Marriott Lobby, All the pops of bright red went perfectly with her wedding color!
Showing off those sexy red shoes!
Just Gorgeous Jenn!
I know Jason is gonna like these!
Jenn and Jason had their ceremony and reception at The Blacksmith Shop. Their wedding was filled with personal details, the childhood pictures of the bride and groom, the book full of engagement pictures, the monogrammed cake topper, and of course a note from the groom to his bride. So sweet! Jenn chose a red and black color scheme, so she wore a red lip, red shoes and red roses! Love the drama of all this red!Sometimes I find the most beautiful light and I have to get creative! I just had to post this “Gerry Ghi0nis Moment” for my photg friends out there! For you non-photogs he/ Gerry is know was the MacGyver of photography.
Some more cute shots of the ladies!
Jenny’s beautiful bouquet, created by Lawrence Mayer, was decorated with a gorgeous monogrammed brooch. The bridal party was so much fun. I love the contrast of Jenn’s ladies looking so cute and girly while Jason’s group did some crazy jumps off the steps. So funny!Jason, rocking his cool shades, eating a Blizzard. It doesn’t get much better than that!
He had to take a few DJ pics with his wedding peeps. Nice Groom details as well!
Jason had one of his best friends Adrienne as one of his attendants, so I made it a point to call them the groom’s people or peeps instead of groomsmen. Adrienne is actually the very talented friend that designed Jenn’s engagement ring…. here is a link to her work: http://www.greenlakejewelry.com/
Jonathan Heeter or just Heeter, one of Jason’s groomsmen kept shooting off these bottle pops at random times throughout the day so we decided to take a group shot with the pops!
Ceremony time.
Jason, waiting to catch a glimpse of his beautiful bride.Walking down the aisleVowsRingsKissing the brideAfter the ceremony the couple snuck around the corner into the side alley for their first couple of minutes alone as husband and wife! What a sweet moment!
Then time for a few romantics.
Adorable!! Love those socks, Jason! We took advantage of this gorgeous light to snap a few romantics of the happy couple. The whole wedding party. Love those pockets, ladies!
Its always fun to see what graffiti I will stumble upon in downtown.
So cool! Jason’s really working the shades with that bouqet! The couple had to steal a few more kisses behind the newspaper. Remember their engagement shoot? The fabulous food was done by The Tic Toc Room in downtown Macon. Yum!!Jenn and Jason’s first dance was adorable and perfectly choreographed! The beautiful red and black cake was by Amanda’s CakeryJenn and Jason had a candy bar where guests could choose their favorite sweets to take home. All themed in the Red, Black and Silver colors of the wedding!
Had to sneak out into the courtyard for more romantic shots.
Jenn had to get a shot with her news crew… thanks Macon Telegraph!
LOVEJason and Jenn changed their clothes before leaving the ceremony, but they stuck with their red and black theme. And of course, Jason had to show some love to his team, The Texas Tech RED Raiders!Jenn and Jason left the wedding in style – in a limo complete with a RED carpet. Jenn and Jason, thank you for letting me be a part of your big day! I had a great time with y’all, and I can’t wait to show you more!
