Alaina and Chris chose a beautiful fall day to get married in Senoia, GA. Alaina loves all things antique, so Senoia was the perfect spot for their vintage inspired wedding. Being in Senoia feels like you’re stepping into the past; it is such a charming little town and the perfect spot for her wedding. The ceremony and reception were held at the quaint Veranda Inn. It was the perfect venue for a quiet and intimate ceremony. So, on to the preview. . .
Alaina’s gown was simple and elegant.
I loved all of Alaina’s vintage details, like her bird cage veil that she made herself, grandmother’s cameo, and mother-in-law’s ring that she wore at her own wedding. Gorgeous!
Beautification!
Alaina and Chris decided to see each other to have some sweet moments before the ceremony.Chris’s bride took his breath away.
Sweetness!
They are such a sweet couple!Love this light! We took a short stroll around the block to Senoia’s Main Street. I love this little nook where we stopped to take some images on the Main St! Alaina was a stunning bride. And Chris was a handsome groom! On our walk downtown we stopped in an adorable antique store called Ms. Wendy’s Antiques to capture a few shots of the gang. It was the perfect place for Alaina and Chris and their wedding party!
Love this old bookshelf…so much that while shooting this I backed my shootsac into some antique vases…I bought $30 of broken glass…totally worth the shot!
She looks like she stepped out of the 1920s.
Picture Perfect!
The Husband Bench….Love that!
Alaina made her own bouquet of autumn colored flowers.
Such a beauty!
Chris and Alaina are both bookworms. Since they love to read, I had to grab a few shots of them in the library. You can see a few more in their first look – HERE. The ceremonyAlaina’s dad walked her down the aisle. It was a beautiful day – perfect for a wedding! And this sunshine was just heavenly!
One of my most favorite images I have captured this year…
Chris and Alaina said their vows under an archway that they decorated with autumn leaves. Their ceremony was beautiful. They wrote their own vows and had friends and family read Bible verses. What a special way to show their commitment to each other and to the Lord!
Another personal touch is that Chris’ grandfather officiated their wedding!
The ringsKissing the brideChris and Alaina stopped for a quick picture with all their guests before sitting down for an intimate dinner.
Sometimes I come around a corner and just stumble on beauty!
I love small, intimate weddings where all the guests can sit down together and share a meal. Chris and Alaina’s guests got to enjoy the dinner that was prepared by Rick Reynolds at The Veranda Inn. It was delicious!
I love how she used mixed sets of china for her table settings.
How adorable are the place cards…little birds.
Chris and Alaina are good friends with my brother, Chris Barnes, and his wife, Ava. So, I had to get a shot of the Barnes family on Barnes St. Check out my newest niece, Ina Jane. Isn’t she beautiful?!!
I just love this dinner.
Alaina’s mom made the bride’s cake and Chris’s mom made the groom’s cake; both were topped with love birds!! The couple’s wedding favor was a coffee bean brittle that Alaina developed herself when attempting to make chocolate covered coffee beans…It was awesome! LOVED IT!The toast was made by a family friend, Jimmy Fulmer. Chris and Alaina are lucky to have family and friends who surround them with love! Chris and Alaina left for their honeymoon in a shower of confetti and bubbles.Chris and Alaina, thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful day! Can’t wait to show you more!
