Anna Blanche & Brandon

August 26, 2013 |

I have a few beautiful summer weddings I am so excited to share here on the blog, so let’s get started with Anna Blanche and Brandon’s classic Southern wedding!   It was a celebration of the love of family, friends, and most importantly, this happy couple!  Their wedding was filled with classic Southern touches, pops of beautiful summer colors, and lots of friends and family to celebrate with.

Anna Blanche and Brandon’s wedding bands were engraved with their wedding date. I love this shot of the engraved rings on top of their lovely engraved invitation.

First the girls had some pampering at Utopia Salon.  Love this sweet moment with Anna Blanche and her flower girl.

The gorgeous gown. Her dress looked like one piece, but it was actually separates.

Anna Blanche’s bestie and cousin, Katherine, was her matron of honor. She helped Anna Blanche into her dress along with a little help from mama!

The bright bridesmaid’s bouquets and all the other gorgeous flowers were by Allison Lucas.

What a beautiful bride!

I loved this moment!! Anna Blanche had a first look with her daddy. Look at the joy on his face!
That is one proud daddy!

Anna Blanche and her beautiful bridesmaids. These yellow dresses were so bright and cheery! Loved them!

The groom arrived so we all had to scurry inside and hide the bride for a minute!

Anna Blanche and her beautiful veil.

Beautiful mother / daughter! I absolutely loved Anna Blanche’s mom’s mother of the bride dress! One of my favorite mother-of-the bride looks of all time!

This tree was also planted in memory of a family member at the church….another sweet personal moment.

Mother daughter sweetness!

What a classic and beautiful wedding party!

Love the white dinner jackets!  So classic!

Brandon, the handsome groom.

Brandon gave each groomsman a set of cufflinks with the state flag from their home states. Such a cool and creative idea!

Love the time right before the ceremony.

My lovely assistant, Betsy. She’s also one of my future brides!!  You never know where I’ll find beautiful light!

Anna Blanche and Brandon exchanged vows at Ingleside Baptist Church in a beautiful and emotional ceremony.

It was so obvious that this couple was surrounded by love on their wedding day. Each of Brandon’s groomsmen gave him a hug before taking their places beside him at the altar. So sweet!

Brandon is a pretty reserved guy, but he absolutely lit up when he was around his bride. Look at the expression on his face as he watches her walk down the aisle!

After Anna Blanche and Brandon said their vows, they took communion. They wanted their first act as husband and wife to be The Lord’s Supper.

Brandon also surprised his new wife with another wedding band right after the ceremony!

After the ceremony, the whole wedding party hopped on the trolley and headed off to the reception to celebrate with friends and family.

Anna Blanche’s family decided to have the reception at their home. Her parents worked so hard to make their backyard the perfect spot for a dream reception for their little girl.

It was lovely! And I just couldn’t resist getting a shot of this sweet portrait of Anna Blanche as a little girl.

From the food, to the flowers to the entertainment, everything about this backyard reception was elegant and beautiful!

Allison Lucas created all the lovely floral arrangements. The delicious food was by Two’s Company

This couple can dance…..

…and dip!

Lisa Shepley of Lisa Mae Cakes made the classically beautiful and delicious cake.

I couldn’t resist recreating the cake cutting portrait from Anna Blanche’s parents’ wedding. What a legacy of love this sweet couple has to aspire to as they begin their life together!

The groom’s cake was a tribute to Auburn, where the couple met. After cutting the cake, the happy couple along with their family and friends got out on the dance floor and got down to Atlanta Rhythm & Groove. What a fun night!!

One of the Young family traditions is to collect a set of matches from everywhere that they travel so the couple’s wedding favor was a pack of personalized matches from their wedding day!

When the night was over, they headed off through a shower of rose petals to a limo waiting to take them away to their honeymoon.

Anna Blanche and Brandon, thank you for letting me be a part of your sweet day!  To check out ALL the images from their day click ***HERE***
