Blakely & Tripp: The West

Blakely & Tripp had a fabulous day. It was a classic church/country club wedding at the beautiful First Methodist Church of Athen’s GA with the reception to follow at the Athen’s Country Club.
We had beautiful weather with beautiful friends and family to celebrate these two! It was really a perfect day! Now onto the photos!
Amanda from Salon Lux was responsible for making the bride flawless with hair and rocked her Tamed makeup!
Her elegant gown was by Custom Steven Birnbaum.
Blaklely’s sweet mom and sister helped her into her dress.
Besides her NEW dress she also had some fab earrings and a borrowed veil from her new sister in law!
Her something old was an item from each of her grandparents no longer with us: a cuff link from one grandfather, a tie pin from the other, and a cross necklace from herqaa grandmother. Her something blue was her mom’s ring and a handkerchief with her, her mom’s, and her maternal grandmother’s monograms and wedding dates on them.
Such a pretty bride! Ready to see her daddy!

Tripp saw his bride for the first time in the beautiful courtyard at First Methodist.
Such a beautiful spot right in the middle of the city.
He also surprised his bride with a painting for her wedding gift!
Love seeing all the sentimental elements come together!

Finally time for these two to tie the knot!
My favorite exit ever! They had Collegetown Gospel Choir of UGAcome in and sing “Oh, Happy Day!”
They had to sneak back into the balcony to listen to the choir!
Blakely’s something borrowed was her new sister, Nancy’s veil.
The reception took place out on the golf course under the beautiful tent!
Guests enjoyed yummy food and lawn games.
A sweet toast from the father of the bride.
The delicious cake was by Athens Country Club.
Guest also enjoyed Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream and a characturist.
The band was amazing! Bobby & The Aristocats.
