Happily Ever Harvey: Elizabeth & Jake

September 2, 2014 |

Elizabeth and Jake had such a special day!  It was such a honor to be a part of their sweet ceremony and celebration.  These two really love each other and really love their families!  It was so cool to see the thanks they wrote to their families in their wedding program.  It read: “…to our parents- they have taught us our values and have shown us how to laugh, love, and appreciate all life has to offer.  Their generosity, support, patience and love is unending and greatly appreciated.  We love you.”  Family really was the theme of the day… oh, and red and black!  I just found that message so sweet and wanted to share it!  Onto the photos!

Elizabeth was a flawless Signature Bride!

Her beautiful Kenneth Winston dress.

Loved all her bridal details:  The “something old” was a piece of lace from her mother’s dress wrapped around her flowers. Her eternity cross necklace matched the ones she gifted her bridesmaids and was her “something new.”  Her “something blue” was her garter and her “something borrowed” was the hankie she carried that both her mom and cousin’s had carried at their weddings.  And of course she has a “sixpence in her shoe!”

Such a classic beauty!

Elizabeth is a total “Daddy’s Girl” so she did a first look with her Dad!

With all her ladies at the Blacksmith’s Shop, where they got ready and also where the reception was later!

Instead of having a Maid of Honor she chose all of her bridesmaids as equals!

All the beautiful florals were by:  Petals.

Loved capturing her in this beautiful light!

She has some beautiful green eyes!

Before the ceremony we shot a few images at beautiful St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.  It is the most beautiful building in Macon.

The inside of this church is as beautiful as the outside!  Just like this sweet bride!

Elizabeth lit a candle in memory of lost loved ones before the service.

Jake and his men!

Guys being guys!

Finally ceremony time!

Such a beautiful wedding!

Happily Ever Harvey!

I love when I get to photograph every one at the whole wedding!  Look closely if you were at the wedding, you are in this shot!

A few more romantic shots of Mr. & Mrs. Harvey!

Then back to the Blacksmith’s Shop for the beautiful reception!

You see their #happilyeverharvey

The beautiful and tasty bride’s and groom’s cakes by Lisa Mae Cakes!

By far one of the best father/daughter dances ever!  Completely perfect in every way!

All of the yummy food was by Two’s Company.

Kevin with DHK Entertainment kept the party and the festivities running smoothly all night!

Thanks so much Elizabeth and Jake for having me as part of your day!  I had a blast!  To se all their wedding photos click ***HERE***
