Hello there blog readers! I have been soooo busy with work and work and um work! I am so honored to be a part of all of my clients’ lives and especially honored to have been part of Kari and Brian’s big day! I am sorry it has taken me so long to post this blog. I have been dying to show you some more of the images from your wedding. It was so beautiful! We were worried about rain and of course it was an outside wedding…but the weather ended up being pretty much perfect for the couple. Laney Puckett at Houston Lake Country Club did an incredible job with the set up, catering, and just keeping the ball rolling smoothly. Also, I got to work with the fab Kevin Nickels of DKH entertainment who not only did all the music for the ceremony, but he and his handy assistant Kristen kept the dance floor rockin’ all night! Ok, so onto the wedding preview!! Here is Kari having her makeup done by the fab Valerie Rankin.
Kari’s dress was absolutely perfect for her….and her artsy mother actually made her waistband that accented her wedding dress! She also made the flower girls basket and the ring bearer’s pillow! Incredible!
Shoe-ez.
Flowers by Helen did a beautiful job with the flowers. I absolutely love the texture of the tulips mixed in with the roses.
Mom helping with the veil.
Kari was such a beautiful bride… I already knew she could work it from her engagement session so I was looking forward to the bridal part of the day!
Check out those eyes!
I love that God gave us our own personal wind machine.
Koutsunis (my hubby/assistant)’s shot …. he just keeps getting better!
A close up of mom’s handywork.
How cute is this flower child?
Favs!
The ladies workin’ the shoes!
I love a bride behind a veil! There is something so sweet and pure about it.
Ok, so onto the men-folk.
This couple is going to have some blue eyed babies one day.
The blingage.
During the ceremony the flower girl had a blast playing with her flowers!
Brian was so happy. I love the opportunity to capture such emotion.
Kari even looks stunning when she cries.
After the ceremony…. Group shot! Woop Woop!
I think this is just hilarious.
How cute is this couple?
Absolute fav from the day!
Kevin with DKH made a special monogram for the dance floor, and the lighting was perfect for the red and black color palette of the wedding.
Carolyn Heitt did a great job with the cakes. I think they got more on their faces than they ate!
The father/daughter dance was very emotional.
Check out the jump from Kari’s MOH when she caught the bouquet. I think she was kinda pumped!
Kevin and Kristen workin the DJ booth and the lighting.
Kari and Brian made a personal “Thank you” sign that will be perfect to put into their thank you notes.
After a few tries we finally nailed a lovely heart!
And off they went.
And last but not least a tearful farewell from Brian’s mom.
Thank you to Kari and Brian for your patience and for being so sweet and in love and just letting me document all the fabulousness!!!!! On a side note…. you are my first wedding of year 2 of JennyEvelyn Photography, LLC! Looking forward to another amazing year!
