Laura Anne and Trent have the sweetest engagement story! Trent proposed to Laura Anne on Jekyll Island. He took her to dinner and then proposed on the beach with a ring and a special surprise. Laura Anne explained it like this:
We were walking on the beach and came up on a picnic blanket set up with with dessert and there was a little puppy there too. I swear I thought we had walked up on someone else’s engagement site and were about to ruin it for someone and as I was trying to convince him we needed to go he had me look down at the dog’s tag which said Bailey (which was of course the name of my hypothetical dog I had been begging Trent for pretty much a month after we started dating) and that was when I knew I had stumbled on my own engagement site. My ring was around Bailey’s collar and after he took it off Trent got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and I said yes!! It was the best surprise ever– my puppy and a ring!!!
Sweet Bailey
Laura Anne is going to be a gorgeous bride. And she may look familiar. Her sister Elizabeth was also one of my brides. What a treat to work with this sweet family again!
Laura Anne and Trent’s relationship is based on a long-lasting friendship. They met when they were sophomores at UGA, and they were just good friends. When they realized their feelings and finally confessed that they liked each other, they fell in love and were engaged in less than a year.
Love this beautiful light!

Bailey had so much fun running in the field!
I can’t wait for Laura Anne and Trent’s big day! The thing they’re most looking forward to on the wedding day is celebrating with lots and lots of friends and family. Sounds amazing!
