I love sharing this wedding with you because this bride and groom were so much fun to photograph! As I said when I posted a first look of their wedding they LOVE to dance!
So put on some wedding dance music as you check out their day!
The bride’s “something old” was her veil. It was made by Preston’s grandmother (Grandma) for her oldest daughter’s wedding. All three of the daughters wore the veil (including Preston’s mom). Preston’s sister and cousin also worse the veil! Not only is it beautiful, but full of family history! The beautiful gown by: Liancarlo she found at Kelly’s Closet in Atlanta, GA.
I loved her fab Tory Burch shoes… the perfect wedge for dancing! They were a gift from her bridesmaid Katelyn’s wedding.
Her “something borrowed” were her mother’s pearls and her blue was the garter!
Sarah’s mom and MOH twin sister helped her into the dress!
I love seeing women transform into beautiful brides on their wedding days!
She and Preston chose to do very private first look.
The bride doesn’t even know we snapped these! LOVE!
A few romantics of this lovely couple!
I always love playing with a fab veil and Sarah’s was extra fab!
Her beautiful florals were by Allison Lucas!
She had memory charms of her grandmothers who has passed on her bouquet! (Queenie, Nancy, and Muv) The bride’s sister-in-law made these charms and had them on her bouquet when she got married recently! What a sweet way to honor them on her wedding day!
Preston’s super cool vintage GA bulldog cufflinks were from his granddad!
The girls had a sweet time of prayer before Sarah headed down the aisle!
Her beautiful program was designed by her friend Emily Saunders, Feather&Ink.
Preston’s nephew was an adorable ring bearer!
I just loved photographing the excitement of these two!
This Signature Bride’s hair and makeup was flawless all day!
Idle Hour Country Club looked just beautiful for the reception! And, how cute is this ring bearer again with his duck push toy that he took down the aisle?
Get ready for some great dancing!
Instead of a brides cake they had the tastiest cake bites I have ever popped in my mouth! Baby Bites are from Pastry Art in Birmingham, AL where the couple lives. I am not kidding when I say they were melt in your mouth goodness! I think I tried at least 3 different flavors!!!! I don’t even really like sweets that much and they left me wanting more!
The couple did cut a mini brides from Pastery Art as well.
The groom’s cake was a surprise for the groom from Pineland Bakery: Mennonite bakery in Waynesboro, GA.
Sooooo many fun details to photograph at this reception: The mini-chicken and waffles, custom Koozies, drink coasters with their beloved dog Jones telling others to keep their paws off your drink, peanut brittle made by Preston’s grandfather Papa, the list goes on and on!
The guest enjoyed cool shades out on the dance floor with the couple’s hashtag #marrymartins!
The band Complete Desire did not disappoint this dancing crowd!
They even had a margarita man walking around with an instant frozen margarita backpack on! How cool is that! Perfect for a summer wedding!
Of course there was an epic dance off!
Thanks to the Willfong and Martin families for making my job so easy! It really was a joy to photograph y’all and document your day Sarah and Preston! I know Jones will be happy he gets to see the pics! 🙂
