Meridith & Wod: Engaged!

I had a lovely time hanging out with Wod and Meridith shooting their engagement session! These two are just perfect together and I can’t wait to photograph their big day! These two both grew up in Macon, GA and their families were friends, but didn’t connect until after college!
Wod popped the question down by the lake at his parents house so that was our first stop for their engagement session!

This is the spot where he proposed. Here is the story in their words:
He asked Meridith to get out of the car and walk with him. They walked on the walkway and Meridith realized they were not going into the boat house but walking over to the edge of the lake. Wod hugged her from behind and pointed to the lot across the water which he recently purchased and had talked to her about how they would one day build and live there. …Before she knew it, Wod spun her around and dropped to one knee with the biggest smile Meridith has ever seen and asked her to be his wife!!
We had some beautiful sunshine!
Next stop was the house they will live in after they tie the knot, every sibling and cousin from the Sams side has lived in after marriage.
