Sarah & Daniel: Forever Begins

January 11, 2013 |

The best way I can describe Sarah and Daniel’s sweet fall wedding was pure joy. These two are so in love, and it shows in everything they do. I love to see a couple united in Christ. They just radiated happiness all day long. Everything about their day was joyful, right down to the weather. We had beautiful blue skies and streaming sunshine all day long. And autumn leaves really put on a show too! They were especially beautiful against Sarah’s ivory dress and the jewel tones she used in her flowers.  It was truly a joy to document their day!  So onto the photos!

The wedding bling!

Before heading to the church, the girls got gorgeous at Glitz salon.

Sarah chose such a classically elegant ballgown by Allure Romance.

The jewel tones in Sarah’s bouquet and shoes were the perfect choice for this fall wedding. Love that pop of purple in her shoes.

Help from her mama.
Daniel gave all of his groomsmen monogrammed cufflinks, and he had to have a pair for himself too.The handsome groom waiting to meet his bride.
Sara was just radiant!
Ready to see her future hubby for the first time.

Checking her out!

That’s a good-lookin’ couple!

Sarah’s bouquet was pinned with a lovely brooch that belonged to her great-grandmother, who was a missionary to India. Her lovely flowers were by The Flower Shop.
There is just something about a bride and a veil that I LOVE!

The autumn leaves were really putting on a show on Sarah and Daniel’s wedding day. How beautiful is this tree?

Enjoying some beautiful sunshine! What a perfect day to say “I do.”

HUGE jump! The couple was surrounded with some pretty amazing friends!

Both Daniel and Sarah’s parents are still happily married. What a wonderful legacy of love they are privileged to be a part of!I just love this dress… she is such a princess!

Before the ceremony, Sarah read a sweet letter from Daniel & her daddy.

And shed a few tears!

Sarah and Daniel chose to get married at Martha Bowman United Methodist Church, a church where her dad was the pastor for 8 yrs. Sarah’s daddy, getting ready to walk her down the aisle. Since Sarah and Daniel chose to get married at Martha Bowman, her dad was able to walk her down the aisle of a church where he used to preach every Sunday.

Daniel’s cousin Patrick is an army chaplain, and he officiated the beginning of the ceremony so that Sarah’s dad could walk her down the aisle and give her away.
Then Sarah’s dad officiated the rest of the ceremony. After officiating so many weddings, I’m sure this was an amazing moment for him.

Sarah and Daniel had a sand ceremony as a way to symbolize the way their two lives would become one.
Sarah’s sweet daddy was so sentimental when he pronounced them husband and wife.

Ringing the bell to celebrate their marriage!
Sarah and Daniel are seriously the sweetest couple! You can see the pure joy that filled their wedding day because of their love for each other.

Daniel is sooo funny … he took every opportunity to ham it up in front of the camera.

Sunshiny Goodness.

Love that pop of color.

Sarah and Daniel’s reception was held at Martha Bowman as well. They treated their guests to delicious food by Bobbi Jo Carver, and yummy cake by Amanda Meadows of Amanda’s Cakery. And after all that deliciousness, they sent their guests home with personalized purple M&Ms.  Yum!

I love capturing those smiles!
Daniel loves Florida State, so of course he had to have an FSU cake.  Gotta love the Florida Gator with the Seminole spear stuck in it on the cake! And as a sweet surprise for Daniel, Sarah’s garter was FSU too! Both Daniel’s awesome groom’s cake and Sarah’s lovely bride’s cake were made by the always fab Amanda’s Cakery.
This is the sweetest idea!
Showing off their personalized M&Ms. And yes, those are their faces on that M&M!

After the reception, it was off through the bubbles for their “Forever” to begin!

Thanks for letting me be a part of the sweet celebration!
