Trish and Ryan are a classic, all-American couple, and they chose the perfect spot for their elegant waterfront wedding: The Savannah Yacht Club. I’ve had the privilege of shooting the weddings of several former bridesmaids, but this time I got to photograph the wedding of a former groomsman! Ryan was a groomsman in Aerin and Adam’s wedding because he’s Adam’s brother. So, I was thrilled to get to be with this sweet family once again to celebrate another marriage!
We started the day at a historic Savannah home where Trish and her girls got ready. Check out Trish’s lovely bridal details. Trish’s style is so classic and elegant, but she also likes a little bit of bling.
A friend of Trish’s, Rachel Allen, did Trish’s hair and makeup.
Gotta love Pinterest for wedding inspiration!
Trish’s gorgeous Alyne gown. I love that some of Trish’s sentimental details were a part of her dress. Her mom sewed her “something old,” a ring from her dad, into the dress. Trish also had her new initials, embroidered in blue, sewn on the inside of her gown: Something new and blue!
Trish’s beautiful bridal jewelry was her “something borrowed,” from her sis-in-law, Aerin. This is my second time photographing these jewels!
Trish and her bridesmaids. Love that color!
What a fabulous venue for a summer wedding at the beach, The Savannah Yacht Club!
Trish looks gorgeous walking out on the dock, ready to meet her man!
The look on Ryan’s face says it all. Trish took his breath away!
The handsome couple!
What a beautiful bride!
I love seeing former brides come back as bridesmaids! Remember Aerin? Not only is she a former bride, but she’s also Trish’s sister-in-law!
These beautiful bridesmaids’ bouquets, with a lovely pop of color, are by A to Zinnias.
Ryan and his groomsman looking dapper.
This may be a first: the wedding party on 3 levels over the water!
Trish and Ryan are a beautiful couple, and I love this romantic shot!
There is nothing like an under the veil bridal!
A penny in her shoe and a little something blue on the bottom for lots of luck on her wedding day!
I love the joy on Ryan’s face. He is ready to see his bride walk down the aisle.
So excited to see his bride, he’s actually leaning forward to catch a glimpse of her!
Trish and Ryan presented roses to their mothers to honor them during the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Durkin. Woohoo!!
The delicious cakes were by Cake it Away.
Instead of a groom’s cake, UGA cupcakes were the perfect treat for this Dawgs fan.
A sweet toast and a few tears for the bride and groom.
After the cake and the toasts, it was time to get down. The band A-Town A-List kept the crowd dancing all night!
Finally it was time to say goodbye and head off on the trolley.
Trish and Ryan, thanks for letting me be a part of this sweet day!
