I love the coast! It’s one of my favorite places, so I was super excited to be a part of Allison and Matt’s wedding at Sanctuary Cove in Waverly, GA. They are such a sweet couple, and their wedding was simply beautiful! Koutsunis and I really had an awesome time with Allie and Matt and are really looking forward to going back down for the bridal session! I did learn a thing or two about the Kelleys (Matt’s family) they all operate on what they call “Kelley time”…they are just laid back and so easy going. It was really a blast getting to work with y’all! Ok so onto the wedding preview!
Allison and her girls got gorgeous at Studio 412 on St. Simons Island.
Some of Allie’s bridal details… I loved all her bling, but most of all her shoes. She is kinda a shoe-aholic so her gold Gianni Bini were to die for!
The rings
Matt actually had two rings as well….the ring above will be more of an everyday ring, but the one that he made his vows with is the ring that his grandfather got in Charleston West Virginia when he married Matt’s grandmother. It is still in its original case.
Ashley did a fab job of Allison’s hair and makeup! After hair and makeup the gals headed over to a friend of the bride Casey’s house where they got dressed.
The gown was gorgeous!
Allie gave her bridesmaids two pairs of fabulous shoes, an adorable monogrammed bathrobe and beautiful fresh water pearls…um, can I be a bridesmaid?! Hehehe, pretty amazing though!
Getting into the dress!
Allison looked like a queen with her train spread out like this. The River House at Sanctuary Cove is so beautifully southern. It’s dripping in Spanish moss! The beautiful brideAllison’s elegant bouquet was by Anna English.Allison has the most beautiful baby blues!
Seriously, Allie you are stunning!
What a handsome groom!
Allison and Matt decided to see each other before the wedding. I love to capture the groom’s expression the first time he sees his bride, and it’s so special when they have a little private moment before the ceremony.
Such a good-lookin’ couple!
Matt and Allison sitting in a tree K.I.S.S.I.N.G. . . . Haha!! Sorry I couldn’t help myself!I just loved her florals! So elegant, southern and perfect for the coast! Anna English, you really outdid yourself! The girls.
Love this shot Koutsunis took…. he is so sneaky!
Romantics out on the water!
Y’all have such a fun group of friends!
What a cute group!
This tree is awesome!
Ceremony time!
Matt, waiting for his bride.Allison’s daddy walked her down the aisle. The vowsMatt got a little emotional. It was very sweet!RingsKissing the brideCelebrating the happy couple!Mr. and Mrs. Matthew KelleyA snake!!! I know kinda random to throw this one in here, but I literally almost stepped on it when walking over to the reception. Koutsunis threw me out of the way. I am so thankful I was not bitten! It’s a baby rattle snake! So what is a photographer to do after almost being bitten by a snake…take a picture of course. Thank you honey for being my knight in shining armor! Justin Hollington prepared some delicious Southern dishes like fried shrimp, grits and hush puppies. Yum! The groom’s cake was a caramel cake with the couple’s new monogram on top. It matched the blue and brown color scheme of Allison’s wedding. They also gave away brown coozies & golf tees as their favors. The bride’s cake was elegant and delicious. It was topped with blue hydrangeas. This sky. . . I have no words!First Dance – I loved the candles surrounding the dance floor! It was our only outdoor lighting. The Wharf Rats kept the dance floor packed all night long!
Fun with sparklers!
Matt and Allison, I loved spending the weekend with y’all on the coast, let’s do it again soon. Thank you for sharing your day with me! Can’t wait to show you more!
