Andrea & Jason: Highschool Sweethearts!

December 31, 2013 |

Andrea and Jason have been together for nine years. They met in high school and have been going strong ever since. So when it was finally time to say “I do” they did it in style. They exchanged vows on a gorgeous fall day at Vineville Methodist Church and celebrated with friends and family at Idle Hour Country Club.  It was a perfect day for these high school sweethearts!

Andrea’s something blue: these fab blue shoes by Luichiny!
A fab Signature ‘do by Allison, another one of my brides.

Andrea and Jason’s classic ceremony was held at Vineville Methodist Church. With the help of fab wedding planner, Mrs. Jayne Smith, it was perfect down to the last detail.
Andrea looks gorgeous in her gown
Andrea’s lovely Essence of Australia gown.  I loved her belt!  It just made the whole dress!

Andrea was a beautiful bride!

This classic bouquet and all the lovely flowers were by Mike Whiddon.
Andrea chose some classic and sentimental details. Along with her beautiful lace gown and veil, Andrea wore a lovely pair of earrings, her “something new.” She also carried her father’s handkerchief as her “something old.” Even though her daddy passed away, she still carried a little something of his along down the aisle.

The ladies looked beautiful with the autumn bouquets!

Such a gorgeous bride!

Even though Andrea and Jason didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, they did find a way to exchange a little note. Sweetness!

Ready to see her groom!

Beautiful sunshiny goodness

After Andrea and Jason tied the knot, they headed off to Idle Hour Country Club to celebrate.
For the cocktail hour, the guests enjoyed hors d’ouevres and music by Calista Koch on the harp.

Lisa Shepley of Lisa Mae Cakes created this fabulous confection. It mimics the lace of Andrea’s gown.

Andrea and Jason’s wedding really celebrated the fall, from the lovely fall flowers to the favors: caramel apples.

Jason is in underwater production, and he spends a lot of time photographing sea creatures. So this groom’s cake by Lisa Shepley was perfect for him!

One of the coolest groom’s cakes I’ve ever seen!  You can check out some of Jason’s work here!

DJ, Kevin Nichols, of DKH Entertainment kept the party going all night.
What’s a wedding reception without the electric slide?

One of my favorite moments of their day was the garter…Jason strapped on his scuba mask!

They also had really good sports when their friends that caught the bouquet and garter had to do the reverse!  Kevin, DKH Entertainment  keeps everyone entertained and on their toes!

Off through the bubbles and on to the honeymoon!

Andrea and Jason, thanks for sharing your fab day with me! Hope you had a very merry first Christmas together! To see all of Andrea and Jason’s wedding pictures, click HERE.
